New Asthma Society Online Learning Module Launched

The Asthma Society of Canada is excited to introduce you to a new, interactive learning module for the public called Taking Control of Your Asthma. It was developed in partnership with the Division of e-Learning Innovation, Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University, and recently posted on the Asthma Society of Canada website for World Asthma Day in May. The McMaster development team followed a rigorous formative evaluation process to ensure the key learning needs of the public were addressed.
Evidence-based principles of instructional design and the use of multimedia to optimize learning informed the development.
  Feedback was garnered from persons with asthma, experts in the field of asthma management, as well as, the National Asthma Patient Alliance and it was very positive.  It supports patient education activities and we encourage you to check it out and share it with your colleagues and patients.
