The Canadian Network for Respiratory Care (CNRC), a registered charity, works to improve the quality of life for people living with respiratory disease, and tobacco use disorder, by developing, promoting and advocating the highest standards of education in health promotion and care.
CNRC offers a certification program for health professionals – the Certified Asthma Educator (CAE), Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE), and the Certified Tobacco Educator (CTE) credentials. CNRC also offers the Certified COPD Educator (CCE) credential in the US.
Content for the conference focuses on health promotion, patient education, and respiratory care – particularly asthma, COPD, COVID-19, allergy, pulmonary rehabilitation, vaccines, tobacco prevention & cessation, other lung diseases (including pneumonia, lung cancer, IPF and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency) and relevant co-morbidities.
Delegates reflect the multidisciplinary nature of the respiratory management and tobacco education teams including: respiratory therapists, nurses, pharmacists, specialist physicians and physiotherapists. We expect to have 400 delegates attend.
